The factory-made, one-of-a-kind Skyrock® Fire Moisture Resistant (FMR) Gypsum Board combines the water- and fire-resistance of wet area and fire-rated boards in a conventional broad 1200mm size. The boards have a non-combustible glass-fiber reinforced gypsum core that has been mixed with particular additives. On the face and back of the boards, a thick natural finish paper is applied. The face paper is folded over the long edges to strengthen and protect the core. The ends have a clean finish and a square cut. The USG Middle East sheetrock® brand's recessed (tapered) long edges of panels enable seams to be strengthened and covered with jointing solutions. 

When priming and decorating with paint, texture, or wallcovering, always abide by the manufacturer's recommendations. All surfaces must be absolutely dry, dust-free, and matte, including those to which USG Middle East Sheetrock® Brand All Purpose Joint Compound has been applied. When a Level 5 finish is necessary, a prime coat of Sheetrock® Tuff-Hide Primer-Surfacer should be applied and given time to cure before decorating. Where gypsum panel walls and ceilings will be exposed to intense artificial or natural side lighting and/or painted with a gloss paint, the surfaces should be skim-coated with USG All Purpose Joint Compound or primed with Sheetrock® Tuff-Hide Primer-Surfacer to equalize suction before painting (eggshell, semi gloss, or gloss).
