Allow to fully dry before adding successive coats. Drying time varies based on the thickness of the putty and environmental conditions. Usually 6-8 Hours.

Easy Coat Advanced Formula All Purpose Wall Putty application:

Surface must be dry, free from swelling, dirt, dust, grease, oil or any contaminants or coatings. Use a non-rusted flexible blade to remove all loose materials from surface. Grind off any major surface imperfections prior to use.

In a clean container mix Easy Coat Advanced Formula All Purpose Wall Putty into the prescribed amount of clean, drinkable water until thoroughly wet. Let this initials mix soak for approximately 15 minutes, then mix until smooth, creamy and lump-free. Do not re-temper mix or intermix with other wet or dry joint compounds. Mechanical mixing is recommended for smooth consistency.

Never apply when the temperature is below or expected to fall below 13OC. Use a wide drywall knife, joint knife, towel or flexible steel blade to apply first coat. Level and smooth surface before putty dries. After putty has fully dried (usually 6 hours or longer, depending on conditions) apply second coat. Sand to a smooth, level surface using 120 grit or finer sand paper. Remove sanding dust with a brush or damp cloth before adding additional coats or decorating
