They are ideal for indoor pools, shower facilities, saunas, and steam rooms since they are mold, mildew, and sag resistant. 

Due to the ceramic-bonded mineral fiber substrate, Radar™ Ceramic Acoustical Ceiling Panels have intrinsic performance, which means that they naturally inhibit the development of mold and mildew. In order to help meet life safety requirements, its Firecode® formulation has unique additives that boost fire resistance and can be suitable for use in fire rated assemblies.
